Presidency Orders Probe Of Kemi Adeosun NYSC Certificate Scandal
President Muhammadu Buhari’s office has ordered that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to do a thorough probe of the alleged exemption certificate scandal involving the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun.
Premium Times has earlier reported that had reported that the Minister who graduated from London East Polytechnic at the age of 22 in 1989, failed to comply with NYSC Act, which made it compulsory for every Nigerian graduate at home or abroad to participate in one year of mandatory service to the nation.
Ekiti Election: Saraki Congratulates Fayemi
The Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated the Governor-elect of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, on his victory in the just-concluded Ekiti gubernatorial election.
Saraki, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yusuph Olaniyonu, stated that the Governor-elect of Ekiti State should use his second-coming to continue the people-centered policies and programmes of his first term, while urging him to also work to grow the State’s economy in order to leave behind a sustainable legacy.

Governor-elect Kayode Fayemi, while staging a victory rally in Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital, said God had liberated the state from slavery with his victory.
Fayemi was accompanied by his wife, Bisi, the deputy governor-elect, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi; Senator Fatima Raji Rasaki (Ekiti Central) and state APC Chairman Olajide Awe.

The People democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the July 14 Governorship election in which Dr. Kayode Fayemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC)defeated the PDP candidate, Prof Kolapo Olusola and other candidates.

Mr Adetola Olubola, The President of the Nigerian Union in South Africa, while confirming the news to newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, disclosed that the victim was killed in Yeoville, Johannesburg around 7:30pm on July 12.
