Breaking News: Police Blocks Saraki’S Convoy At His Maitama Residence
Senate President Bukola Saraki’s political aide Bamikole Omisore says the police have blocked his principal from leaving his Abuja residence this morning after laying siege on his convoy. He tweeted:
“The @PoliceNG have blocked the Senate President @BukolaSaraki’s convoy at Lake chad junction on his way to report to the police headquarters upon the last night invitation by the police received at 8pm”
Police Summon Saraki Over Offa Robbery Case
The Nigerian police has summoned Senate President Bukola Saraki over the armed robbery attack in Offa in kwara state resulting in the death of 31 persons.
The suspected armed robbers involved in the attack had confessed to being sponsored by Mr Saraki.
If Buhari Condones Disrespect For His Office, I Will Not Condone It For The Party – Oshiomhole
Adams Oshiomhole, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, on Monday stated that the President Muhammadu Buhari‘s fatherly disposition is been taken advantage of by ministers who are not up and doing in their various ministries.
He threatened to seek Buhari’s decision to sack such ministers from the federal cabinet, stating that if the President allows his office to be disrespected, he will not condone disrespect for the party.

The Senate leader, who insisted he has nothing to do with the robbery incident or any criminal matter, assured that the new plot against him will fail.
Breaking News: PDP Expels Senator Buruji Kashamu, Others
Senator Buruji Kashamu, representing Ogun East in the National Assembly has been expelled by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State.
Three other members of the PDP in Ogun State Bayo Dayo, Segun Sarki and Sanimu Sodipo were also expelled on Monday.

Senate President Bukola Saraki, has refuted media reports that the Presidency and the All Progressive Congress (APC) made a juicy deal with him for him to stay in the party, stating that the meetings he held with the President were on National Issues.
The Senate President stated that News stories about him being offered a juicy package by APC were not only untrue but unfortunate.
