How to Use WhatsApp Request Money From Friends Feature

Earlier back, we posted here about the recent launch of WhatsApp Request Money From Friends Feature which gives the ability to request money from friends or pay money to friends via WhatsApp.

However, in this post, I will be teaching you How to Use WhatsApp Request Money From Friends Feature.

How to Use WhatsApp Request Money From Friends Feature

To use the feature, navigate to Settings and then to Payments.

Now tap on New Payment and enter the UPI address or scan QR code on the next page.

After this, you will need to choose whether to Request Money or Pay Money.

Tap on “Request Money” and enter the amount you would like to request.

Note that the feature is only available to Indian users and will soon be rolled-out to other countries. Also, note that all request sent will expire within 24 hours.
