Check Out The Huawei Honor 10, An Android Alternative Of The iPhone X That Comes With A 24MP Camera

When Apple launched the iPhone X, the whole world was going crazy about the design of the phone, the notch accompanied by a full view display and as I expected, Android Manufacturers wouldn't rest on their oars, the response to Apple's notch design was massive with almost all Chinese manufacturers releasing Android devices with notches and full view displays.

Huawei unveiled the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro smartphones with best in class cameras. Now, its sub-brand Honor has come up with its 2018 flagship smartphone called Honor 10 in China. It will be making its global debut next month and is expected to come with a very hefty  price tag. In China, the Honor 10 with 64GB and 128GB storage options is priced at N148,000 and N171,000 respectively.

Just like the Huawei P20 smartphones, the Honor 10 also comes with AI-assisted cameras on the front and rear. However, there is no Leica branding on the Honor 10 smartphone. It will be available in Purple, Black, Blue, and Grey color options. As seen on the previous Honor flagship smartphones, the new Honor 10 also comes with gradient finish on the rear. On the front, there is a 5.84-inch display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio and notch.

Under the hood is a HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with a Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and dedicated NPU. It comes with 6GB of RAM alongside 64GB and 128GB storage options. The device runs on  Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with EMUI 8.1 on top. There's also a 16MP RGB sensor and a 24MP Monochrome sensor on the rear with f/1.8 aperture and CAF autofocus.

For selfies, you get a single 24MP sensor on the front with f/2.0 aperture. The camera app comes equipped with AI integration for scene detection.
