Like all previous updates, Microsoft is rolling it out in stages and you’ll have to manually update today to get it early, or wait until it’s widely available on the Windows Update on May 9th.
The new update includes a number of new features. Timeline is one of the biggest additions, and it lets you see not only the apps are running across all your PCs, but also what apps and activities you’ve used on your Windows 10 PC in the past 30 days. Microsoft is also adding a new dictation option with this update, a mute tab feature for Microsoft Edge, nearby sharing options, and of course many more. You should know by now that I won't drop all the spoilers. I know you may be wondering how you can get the update ( If you don't have enough data you can simply use NTel's unlimited Night Plan Subscription) . I'm actually running the update currently - I'll let you know the full size once I've downloaded it.
How to get the update:
Download the Update Assistant from Microsoft’s website.
Launch the Windows10Upgrade.exe file
Click Update Now
If your device is compatible with the Windows 10 April 2018 update, the next button will let you start the upgrade
If you want to get an ISO and wipe your machine, you can simply download the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft’s website and create a bootable USB key to clean install the latest Windows 10 April 2018 Update.
