‘Hundreds’ of victims possible in Calif. rape case
4,398 reactions
B: “But investigators found hundreds of videos on Robicheaux’s phone after he was arrested, showing women “in various states of undress, consciousness and being assaulted,” Van Der Linden said.” If either of these women pressing charges are in any of the videos, they’re guilty, and should receive the maximum sentence. Hopefully authorities can identify and find other potential victims so that these two, if guilty, are incarcerated for life.

Jon: The high school baseball team my son played on was very good. In his freshman year, they lost in the state semi-finals with a sophomore pitcher leading the team. During my son’s sophomore year, it became clear the star pitcher was full of himself, partying, doing drugs and even being accused of inappropriate touching of girls. When the first complaint was lodged, the coach suspended him 5 games and placed him on probation for the remainder of his high school years. You would not have believed the backlash from parents, teachers, and school board members. The school board even threatened to fire the coach but he stood his ground. Thinking he was “untouchable,” the pitcher violated the parole by going to a party and being seen by several schoolmates drinking and toking. The coach dismissed him from the team. The community eruption was unbelievable. They didn’t care one bit that the kid was drinking, toking and driving under the influence; underage drinking, or inappropriately groping girls. They only cared that he would get them a state championship. The team never won that championship, but they won more games the next two seasons than they did in the three seasons he played. They won two league titles, several invitationals, two districts, and one regional. And they had so much fun as a group it was contagious. As a coach myself, I had utmost respect for that coach and pushed him to look for a job in college. He toyed with it but decided to stay coaching high school. Any kid I run into who played for him smiles ear to ear when telling me about their experiences. Moral of the story: it is a team sport, and no one player decides the fate of a TEAM.
$9K party for 1-year-old? ‘Money well-spent’

Brett: “Explaining that one of her “pet hates” is children’s parties that are more suitable for adults, Lam got to work planning the major milestone when Lachlan was just 2 months old. “I’ve always loved parties, or to find a reason to celebrate and go over the top,” she said, adding that she and husband Ian love to “live in the moment.” “We may not have the deepest pockets, but we believe where money is well-spent and for the right reasons, we’ll make it work,” she explained.——Yeah, she has not need to defend herself as it is her money even if she says they don’t have the deepest pockets. But she should not kid\contradict herself. That party was more for adults than the kids. The main person it was for was herself. Kids don’t care about the fancy restaurant with the stunning waterfront view. The adults on the guest list outnumbered the kids more than 2-1 and had chef planned menus for the adults and kids. Sure the kids activities were included but all this is for a one year old who will only remember this from pics\videos and what he is told.

A Texas daycare centre owner has been arrested on child endangerment charges after she was accused of keeping infants and toddlers tied to their car seats for hours.
Rebecca Anderson, 60, kept the small children tied up in car seats for at least seven hours a day at her Mesquite daycare centre, Becky’s Home Child Care, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
The affidavit also alleged the daycare centre owner yanked a six-month-old child by the bib around his neck, tying laces around the young children’s necks to limit their movement.
Police launched an investigation into the daycare centre after a concerned father reportedly hid a small camera on his six-month-old child, observing the alleged abuse in its recordings and showing the footage to authorities.
The 60-year-old woman then began feeding the infant an “unknown substance using a plastic liquid syringe,” according to the affidavit. Police said they believe she was providing the children with unnecessary doses of over-the-counter-medicine, like acetaminophen.
Ms Anderson reportedly told the police “she had likely given Tylenol to all of the children”.
The investigations remains ongoing, with police saying the probe “is a collaborative effort between multiple agencies and care providers”.
Ms Anderson was charged Sunday night on nine counts of child endangerment with bonds totalling $45,000. She has been held at the Dallas County jail. The jail’s records list no attorney for her.
The daycare centre owner also admit to having tied “shoelace-like ligatures” around the children’s necks, according to the arrest warrant. When her home was searched on Friday, police found three children stuck in their car seats inside of a closet in her master bedroom. Meanwhile, another child was allegedly trapped in the master bedroom.
Police had to cut off several of the laces restricting the children and their movement. Ms Anderson’s charges include a $5,000 bond for each count of endangering a child.
